Our Story
Why Wild Dog?
We’re glad you asked. Maybe you are like us and have a wild side that you have yet to release because of your fear of failure, societal standards, or the opinions of others. Many have a passion that drives them wild but few are willing to take the risk to pursue it. Wild Dog was created for people like us. It was created to motivate and inspire the pursuit of your wildest dreams.
We are John and Kelly Slusher. Samson and Delilah are our why. When Delilah was a year old, we almost lost her in a freak accident. She made a miraculous full recovery, and six months later we found out she had lymphoma cancer. We exhausted every option possible trying to beat it, but unfortunately, six months after her diagnosis, she passed away. We miss her and wish she was still here with us today. Here’s to keeping her spirit alive through Wild Dog.
Samson and Delilah have taught us the importance of using the things that seem the most insignificant and heartbreaking to spread purpose and hope around the world. With that being said, 5% of our proceeds goes to the Magic Bullet Fund to help cover treatment costs for those who have a cat or dog with cancer.
